I think your dash carpet improves the looks of the pod :)

Personally, the pods wouldn't work for me, since I can barely see over the steering wheel as it is.

Don....

Hi Don, nice install! BTW, as for the photo size..... if you do ONE of the following two things your photos will turn out better.

1) use a program that constrains the photo dimentions when sizing

or

2) as an example, if you subtract 165 pixels to get 400 pixels from say the width, you must also subtract 165 pixels from the length to keep the photo in perspective (constrained measurements).

Hope this helps!

David :D

Hey Dave,

YOU ARE THE MAN! Picture looks better now. Where were you when it took me 2 weeks to get my Avatar on here? Thanks:D :D

Don... they look really nice... its the second dash pod that I have liked... the first is in a Ram owned by Vaughn Mackenzie.

Doc,

I see what the problem is, looking at your picture, your Head is taller than your Body! :D For Pods you will need to swap out your Head or Body. :D :D :D

Don:

I have the dash pod gauges on my truck also. They

have been on there since 1997 with no problems at

all. I like them better than the "A Pillar" mount because

I can see them better. Sorry... . no picture.

Don,

I like the pod setup better that the A piller also. Did the kit come with all the hardware, probes, etc. or did you have to get some parts elsewhere?

Was this the UltraII kit... it shows on their web site for $269. . did you get it straight from USGear?

What where your experiences installing this unit?

Thanks!

SoCal,

The 3 gauges were from TST and were about $230 for everything. (DiPricol) The pod was about $35 from DIS (in the links) It installed ok, I just had HUA most of the time. It uses velcro onto the dash or dashmat so you can pull it out and adjust, etc. If I get tired of it I can always change it out as there are no holes in the dash. After I bought this setup I went to a 6 spd so really didn't need the 3rd gauge. That combo setup from Genos in the dash is a nice setup. ! Oh Well!:D :D :D

We are only 40 miles apart. Look at them sometime.
