Well, I got motivated today and decided to put my injectors in. It took me all about an hour. I went with the thin (. 023) washers and have just a slight haze at idle. They don't smoke all that bad (my opinion) at current pump setting, but I was surprised to see another 10 psi of boost! Oo.

Oh... . almost forgot tell ya all about my test drive... . I got on it around a corner and pitched the truck sideways... :-laf :-laf :-laf

Thin washers, good choice. I think they give the least amount of idle 'haze'.

Test drive: reminds me of the '92 I used to have. I took it easy after I changed the head gasket. A week later, I decided to see what the 'go pedal' would do on the way to work one morning - sideways truck!

"what injectors did you go with?" Duh, POD (Prince of Darkness's from EIS) What'd you pay for 'em. (I hope this isn't another stoopid ??)

Oh heck... . don't remember how much now? $430 or $440 from Piers...

I really like the performance improvement with these injectors, of course that being said, I'm only comparing them to stock and the mods I've done to this point. :D

It seems that these had made a bigger difference than my injectors in my 24 valver.

We went up to the foothills yesterday to a Rodeo in Penn Valley, CA and the truck pulled the grades real nice and the turbo was just a singing!!! Ahhhh... . such beautiful music! :-laf :-laf

Hmm don't see any other trucks in your sig :-laf . Something about that macho rig you got there, makes any new truck not worthy for your sig eh ;) ?

Ya, had an 01' 24 valver that I sold a couple years ago. It was a great truck... drove it like I stole it 24/7. A lift pump was the only problem I ever had with it.

That being said... I much prefer an old 12 valver any day! Too much fun! Oo.

. :D

What year engine do you have. Ive read that the earlier the engine the better the improvement. I have a 92 auto and a 93 stick and want to get some PODs but dont know which to put them in.

I have a 1992 motor/drivetrain, H1C & 16cm exhaust housing w/ just a bit of tweaking (voodoo) on the pump. :-laf Waiting to put my gov spring in before going further... .

Well then I am encouraged by your original post. Based on what you have done and what you have so far to get such an increase in performance. My 92 is a little farther along than the 93. But its an auto. I'd like to buy a set and swap things around to see what happens. Are you bringing that truck to Redding? If so Id like to check it out.
