The new issue of Diesel Power mag is out in the mail again and when you read the Diesel Power Challenge, don't get depressed cause a DMAX won. Look in the scoring section and look at the sled pull section and you will find Dodge won that section. I cant stress enough that the Cummins is not designed for speed, but for low end grunt which is what a Diesel is supposed to do, not racing. I can bet that The Diesel Place crowd will be talking about this for some time, they always compare their trucks to Dodge because they know just how powerful our trucks are. If speed is what they want they will never be able to stump pull like a Cummins. With the new 6. 7 Cummins coming Dodge will dominate the low end grade pulling for a long time to come. I believe my point is made again with the numbers in the sled pull numbers that I have argued with the most loyal of DMAX owners who think they can just keep increasing HP and torque and out pull a cummins. After 200000 miles the Dodge just keeps on pulling with the grunt it has as new. If speed is what they want to prove in a truck to be the best, then why don't they race against the Viper V10 Ram
