Winter sure has set in here in the north east. This weekend starting now, the temps are plummeting to a zone not seen too often. I just now viewed a temp map showing factors dipping to -40 plus way up in mwilson zone- way up in Maine. What's unusual is that there will be heavy winds at least in my area, which exacerbates the issue- it really chills out my bedroom as its on the north side of the house and has a vaulted ceiling.
I'm hoping everyone is safe wherever you are dealing with the frigidity. The days are getting longer giving hope to short sleeve times ahead!

Yes, we are getting the wind as well. -2 below this morning and will drop more tomorrow.

Our bedroom is upstairs toward the lake (which faces the wind).....I know immediately when the Vortex has arrived....:-laf

Ahh Yesss!! Global Warming strikes again !
Colder than normal here also, I am ready for Spring already.
I did see some Robins in the yard on Wednesday 2-10-16 ... Stupid Birds should have stayed where it was warm.

That hasn't been the case until lately from what my Mother says. Quite a change given the last month or two that you've had out there.

Yeah, a complete 180 in weather. Come about May I will be doing the crying. I am old enough that I have that fine temperature line now. if it's 79 I'm cold, if it's 81 I'm hot.

Arizona is just too hot it seems. But what's the real feel or index? 90 can be nice if it isn't muggy.

90 is not bad. When 104 starts and climbs to 110,115,120 it's miserable. Then the seasonal monsoons come and it gets worse as the humidity rises. Usually in the Summer Months when going to work in the morning the vehicle air conditioner is on.
