pole barn heat?

I have a 24 by 48 by 10 foot high pole barn and want to heat it this fall. I plan on using a reznor heater. The coldest temps here in Erie average about 25 degrees. I want to be able to heat the barn to 70 degrees if I need to but most of the time I would like it to be 60 while I'm working. Actually most of the time it won't be heated, just when I'm in it working. How many BTU's will I need to get the job done?

You will need something in the 100,000 BTU range. Reznor units are about 80% efficient. 100k input =80k output.

Take a look at Hired Hand heaters. They are used in nursery industry among other uses. 99. 9% efficient. These heaters are super.
