polished aluminum rim question

getting ready to update the wifes stock rim/tire combo



bought a set of polished aluminum rims and hubcaps off e-bay for 300$ delivered ...



have her steel rims sold for 250$ ...



gonna have some 35's mounted tuesday ...



two questions:



1) it is local popular opinion that these are polished aluminum and can be cleaned / polished using mothers ... are these polished or clear coated?



2) i was told at dealership that these are forged rims and the non polished are cast ... any answers?

factory polished rims, sorry

wipe some polish on the rim ,if it turns black the rim is raw, if not its cleared.
