We have had over time quite a number of political threads here in the other forum. Usually these involve quite a bit of debating - sometimes very heated debating. Some members have been put off by this and others very much enjoy the debates no matter how heated they become. Our policy has been and as far as I can see will continue to be to try and stay out of moderating political threads unless they descend down into severe personal attacks.

If you choose to read political threads understand that you may read views that will offend you. Please try to keep things civil as best you can. If you choose to be less than civil with each other and the other party wants to have a debate on that level please do so via private messages or email.
