Well I have now heard of one. Illflems neighbors buddys... . How many other in the TDR realms do we know of? I have a 10\99 production CTD & we all know this means nothing as far as the KDP failure goes. Well, anyone, Everyone?

My '98. 5 was still tight, didn't have the updated cover when I checked. Rather then worry I suggest using the jig to kill the pin. It's a simple, quick, yet effective fix.

KDP stands for Killer Dowel Pin. You can search the 12V forum or see pics and procedure to fix on Fritz's site.

which cover is prone to the problem? update or old style. anyone willing to post a photo of the both covers?... ... . cr@p... . and i thought the only thing i had to worry about was the injection and lift pumps going south... .
