Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) POLL: How many people beleive there is a guy in Italy named Marco doing these ECM's?

Just curious, dont freak out. I mean there is obviously someone doing these ECM's but I am just curious as to how many people think the person is In Italy And his name is Marco.

how in the 'ell can you even think that? Just ask the good guys, Bob, Doug, et all, and the end users Pryker, DarkHorse who had to ship their's personally to Italy. I suspose they did that just to have them return to the USA to be programmed??



If you had read all of the thread, you would have noted that the European Union requires that ALL imported diesels must be reprogrammed by Marco.

He may be for real, meaning italien and named Marco, I think his product is real.

being in italy makes it legal.

I think that is kind of a gray area, it makes it legal for him, not necessaryly for us. Anyway who cares about being legal, it sure is not legal to drive like I do most of the time.





As for where marco is, I am about 99. 9% sure he is in Italy. Didn't one of the members go visit him once, I seem to remember something about that a long time back.





I was not aware of his VW work, but a man with his talents probaby has his hands in quite a bit of work.

I sure think he is and if you guys would have been here in the beginning I think you'd believe it too. It's been a long process for marco, I'm glad he finally got everything all figured out. I might even have to try one someday. I had thought he gave up as I hadn't seen anything about the original "MAD", now "catcher" ecm for some time. Great job marco, I believe in you.
