Taking A poll on fuel pump and fuel PSI you all have and psi you all are seeing :)

What pump are you running

How much fuel pressure are you running

How long have you had the pump and been running that PSI

Im running 135A fuel Proporator @ 18 PSI

While Towing A 28' toyhauler PSI is 16 PSI

Since 3-1-2004

Thanks

Relocated OEM LP to frame rail, have added Carter 4600 pusher pump and also Frantz sub-micron fuel filter. PSI measured at VP-44 varies between a max idle of 22-26 depending of type of Frantz TP cartridge in use, runs 16-18 at freeway cruise, and WILL drop below 10 PSI towing 5er up a grade with a more restrictive TP cartridge, but normally runs no lower than 12 PSI under heaviest load - that's with the Comp on 5x5...

Been running the pumps since truck was new - no problems with either of them - the Frantz filter was added about a year ago...

RASP

idle 13. 5psi 2k rpm 16psi (VP44 bypass set @16psi)

2 years

pump pressure poll

16psi while idling or towing flat will slightly decrease when towing up Grocer's grade(6%) with 5ver. see ya! Oo.

Running 14. 5 Idle - 13. 5 65 MPH - 11 WOT. Have Vulcan Big Line Fuel Kit, I am using a NAPA OEM pump which is the same Carter as stock. I haven't pulled the trailer yet to see how low it will go.

Running retrofitted in tank pump, block mounted cummins campaign pump. 15-16psi @ idle, 13-14psi @ cruise, 11-12psi @ WOT. Been running this setup about a week. Waiting for warmer weather to switch over to the glacier pump setup.

RASP pump... 12. 5 at idle and 15psi at WOT... 180. 000 miles and still on the org. VP44... ... knock on wood :-laf

2 years and counting

Pressure gauge isn't as accurate as I'd like (reads low)... pressure is around 18, never goes below 16 psi... walbro 392 w/vulcan big line kit... I intend to turn the pressure up some...

FASS 150 13-15 psi idle, 12-14 cruising, 11-13 wot, depending on outside temps (colder= higher psi) all new line from the tank to the pump, through HF6604 (3 mic) been on my truck over 2 yrs. Still no probs, no on wood... ...

Stock lift pump in stock location, big fuel lines and DD pusher pump kit (Carter 4600) on the frame rail. 21-22psi at idle, 10-11psi WOT at 515rwhp. Lift pump is the original one. Pusher has been on since 36k. Truck is now at 96k.

FASS with 1/2" fuel lines (including tank pickup). Hot Rod VP44 with very large injectors and a Comp TST Fuel box.

I see 18psi Idle, 17 during drive and never below 16 @ WOT. If the gauge drops below about 12 at WOT, I change the filters.

vulcan kit

the Vulcan LP relocation kit gets me 14psi idle 10psi idle With comp on 5x5

stock was 12psi at idle and 3psi at WOT

Glacier GFS-392 + 2 Micron Filter and in-line pre-pump filter/screen

18-19# idle & cruise, never less than 16# WOT & comp on 5/5

Since Spring 2006.

FASS 150/150 1/2 Lines 15. 5 WOT 20,000 lbs 13. 5 to 14. Two years and 450,000 Km on the pump. Did Brushes at around 350,000 km on pump. Still love the pump but the motor is on its last lag.

AirDog FP-80, 16 psi. @ idle, 14 psi. cruising @ 70 mph, 12 psi. minimum floored to 115 mph. It's been on for around a year and about 3000 miles.

I have the stock lift pump for now. 12 psi idle, 10psi at 60mph, 7psi WOT. About to iinstall an Airdog! Have been running this pump for 6 months.

I saw 15psi (at the filterhead) running a fresh OE replacement pump... it would eventually "wear" to 10 psi and that was also dependant of ambient temps...

I think my dad's truck is running about that using a campaign pump...
