im planning on getting some 2" coil spacers installed on my 98 4x4 so that the tires dont scrub anymore. when i research whats out there i find either polyurethane spacers or steel spacers. they generally are within the same price range. is there an advantage to one kind over the other, or is it just personal preference? i would appreciate any insight/advice. thanks guys!

I have the steel ones. Not sure of the advantage over polys other than they are steel not plastic? Steel ones will eventually rust - the poly ones could crack and they will always be whatever color they are when you get them. You could paint them black but as the poly flexes the paint won't. Tough decision, back to ya?

check out Revteck, there cast aluminum, i myself and 2 of my buddies have them. i think there a little more than steel or the poly, may $130 give or take.
