Those mounts do not fix mounts with bad rubber they also dont fit very good if any one wants a set of those prothane inserts ill sell a new set cheap because they are junk if your mounts are bad

Has anyone used these for any length of time? I would think that they might add to the "53 Block issue" even on a non 53 block, especially with a manual transmission? The oem seem to last forever as is. I do think they might assist with the bucking, backing up a heavy load. I think the soft mount might give too much and add to the bucking.

Sorry for the stupid question but what are the benifits? Are these just a replacement or do they smooth out the mighty cummins rumble?

My purpose was to source a replacement as my rubber was bad , the street ones are soft like the OEM but don't have the voids in them .There is a harder version available as well f you want that my guess for racing or ? This is the only option if the OEM rubbers go bad .

Nice. I doing rear driveline ujoints saturday. While im under there im going to take a look at everything. How do you know if the mounts need to be replaced?

Pretty much either by engine movement or if the mounts look smashed but with the rubber biscuits on each side of the mounts you cant see the condition so you have to jack up the engine to pull off the biscuits to see how they are
