I am considering putting up a building for my son & I to work in. And I am sure that expenses will run higher than I plan, "as usual". Anyway, here up north, there is a definate need for good insulation. So, I am looking to reduce expenses where I can, and one of the things I am sure I could do myself, is to blow the insulation on. I think that the polyurethane foam( or some other type of sprayon ins. ) is the real ticket. I am wondering if anyone has a lead on some used equipment out there somewhere, and maybe a place to buy the foam at a "allow me to exist" price.

Anyone?????? :)

not sure what kind of shops you have in that part of the world, but here isn WI most places will let you rent a blower for free or almost free if you buy the insulation from them. home depot does, too, I think...

We do not have a Home Depot here,,, yet. There is a co. that does this sorta thing(spray foam) as a business, but according to my budget they are waaayyy outa line:{. I realize that they need to make a living, but with what they charge, they will have to stick with doing commercial work. I know that places like Menards let you use their blowers for the cellulose, but that is not what I need. I want the kind of insulation that has the consistancy of molded styrafoam when applied.

Is this the kind of insulation that Home Depot sells?
