Anyone know a good site for Pontiac 3800 problems. Have a 1996 that I can't make run. Searched but have had no luck for a site.

I don't know of any sites or owners' groups, but I would suspect the DIS ignition pack. Those things are notorious for failure. You have to replace the unit as a whole part. That whole design is such a POS. Good luck replacing it. Once you get it running, sell it and don't look back. Nothing good will come of the thing.

I looked at my niece's Pontiac, Grand am, V6 it had the cam chain so south. Remove the oil cap and look inside, while some else cranks the engine. If the chain is gone the cam will not be moving. Good Luck.
