In the past couple months I've had upper/lower ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rods/ends, track bar, a '10-13 heavier steering box installed and it still drives like crap. The wheels don't seem to track right. Steering feels irregular/wandering. There is a lot of play in the steering wheel. During cornering, you are constantly making corrections for the wander and if you hit any seams, bumps or potholes the trucks reaction is very exaggerated.
Most parts from the steering box to the wheel bearings have been replaced. Could it be a worn out steering column?? Poorly installed parts? Crappy parts? As far as I know, Moog ball joints and OEM everything else.
This might be a total newbie question, but is there an ultimate fix for all of this? What do I need to do to produce a confidence inspiring and solid driving experience with this rig? 08.5 steering linkage? Better ball joints? Better wheel bearings? Aftermarket suspension?
