A buddy of mine just bought a new 325/600 and is only seeing about 10 to 11 mpg in the truck. I was thinking I had read a post a while back that had a TSB for this problem. If anybody knows please help.

Thanks, Brad

I have a 2004. 5 (325/600) with an automatic & 3. 73's. I'm getting 13. 9 on the overhead and 15. 66 on a hand held computer. I drive 80% highway & 20% city. Mine has 900 miles on it. We are still getting winter blend around here, so, I'm hoping it will go up when summer fuel arrives. Good luck!

my 04. 5 is going to the shop on Tuesday for the reflash.

I really hope this help because my milege is very poor.

Got 8 mpg towing my 8500 pound trailer.

If he's like me, he'll see improved mileage down the road. This first leg of my quest for improved mpg was getting over the newness of hearing that throaty exhaust note resonate off the buildings as I stomped on it. AKA "keeping my foot out of it".

The TSB (and my BOMBing) helped too. I've gone from 11 city to close to 14 (hand calc'd). Driving like a granny 90% of the time has helped a bunch.

I seen better mileage after the TSB, going from the winter blend fuel and getting some mileage on it as it improved significantly after about 15k mileage, also found keeping a light foot and cruising at 65 vs 75 greatly improved mileage. Getting a solid 20 mpg on highway unloaded.
