pop out exhaust

loud pop out of exhaust under heavey accelration have an edge programmer. no check engine light or no codes in system

What year truck do you have? Is the exhaust stock? Do you have gauges? Boost #'s would be very important. Mike

my tuck is a 2003 2500 305 555 bully dog exhaust 4in and a edge ez module. i also have a mac cold air filter system. i only have a boost gage. under heavey accel it gets a few pops out the tailpipe.

i've seen it happen on the 24valves --problem being the edge box. that's what i suspect, but i don't know how the box reacts on the newer motor. should be able to send it back and get a new one.

On my 03 that I had, Edge Ez, 5 inch exhaust, AFE, I developed a loud popping under full throttle. If I stayed in it it would be followed by white smoke. I unplugged the EZ and the problem went away. I got ahold of EZ tech line, explained what was going on. They had me send the EZ in and sent me a new one. I put it on and took the truck for a drive, same thing!

I took it to my dealer and explained the problem. After a load of tests it was decided it was an injector. They put in 3 injectors and the problem was solved. And yes I took it in with the Ez on. My dealer is not of the box kills the warranty gang.

Pops out exhaust

Ihave also put in the new edge box from version 3. 0 to version3. 1 power seemed better but still get major pops out of the exhaust. does anyone know how to test the injectors to see if they are bad.
