I've got a problem with the clutch pedal where it doesn't seem to come all the way up when released. I hear a little pop maybe 3-5 seconds after I take my foot off the pedal and it comes up the rest of the way (maybe 1/2"). Very annoying problem, it's worse when the truck is warm. I've had the dealer look at this twice, and they "couldn't reproduce the problem".

I saw some references to this in other threads and people mentioned that the problem was fixed by replacing bushings. Can anyone tell me which bushings fixed the problem?

I've got an appointment next week for another unscheduled repair (backup light switch is flaky) and I'd like to get this clutch issue resolved once and for all.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, sounds like the switch piece that rides over the clutch rod under the dash is hanging up or catching on something. These are known for making noise.
