Installed MOOG/ Car Quest track bar 4mo. and 7k miles ago. Ball end of track bar is sloppy. I don't need to replace it every 4 mo. so I ordered Luek's. He said he had neopreme bushings also, got it too. I kept the oem track bar to rebuild at a later date as the replacement is about 5/8" longer than stock and offsets the front axle. Put the link on ( great product ) and destroyed the old bushing getting it out. I knew I was in trouble when the neopreme bushing went right in with out pushing. Installed the track bar. Yep! about a 1/2" of play in the bushing. :mad:. Yep! you guessed it. No one makes a replacement bushing for the track bar.

The Moog bushing is not the same size as the oem.

The MOOG track bar has been rubbing on one of the differential bolts as it is much larger diamiter and has different bend. :mad:

Went to DC, bought a oem track bar. Tomorrow I will put the link on the new oem bar and install it.

Lifetime warranty on the MOOG t b means no money back just another bar that is too long and too lage diamiter. It is listed for 94 and up to 2002. Yea! RIGHT. #@$%!

F/ S one brand new 94 - 99 track bar CHEAP:(

I know they ain't cheap, but oh, how I do love my DT Track Bar :D:D:D

Heck, when I took the truck in to have the front end properly alighed after having the Skyjacker lift and DT track bar installed, the owner of the shop was so impressed that somebody finally made a real track bar, he made me promise to get him the contact information for DT so he can either refer other customers to them, or see about getting a deal with DT to sell the track bar kits at his alighment shop. This is a shop that does a lot of heavy duty trucks of various sizes, including big rigs, so they understand heavy duty!!

Give some info on where I can get one of these DT bars please. Every time I take my truck it to the dealer they just pump the track bar zerk full of the thickest grease I have ever seen, and tell me it is in spec. as far as play is concerned. :{ :{ :{

The DT track bar includes all required mounting hardware. They ain't cheap, but I am absolutely certain that unless you mangle it on some huge rock or some such thing, you will never, ever, ever need to replace it!

When talking to the DT folks, especially when ordering, be sure to specify if you have any sort of lift or leveling kit. Trucks with 0 - 3" of front end lift will use the stock DT mounting bracket. Any more than 3" of front end lift will need the dropped DT mounting bracket.

When I ordered mine about 6 months ago, prices were:

Stock height - 3" lift: $330

3"+ lift - $360
