Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) POS Throttle linkage

I just got done putiing in my 3k gsk, I love the kit to death, but my truck idles at 1200 rpm, I can't idle it down cause I welded my throttle linkage together when it broke a while back. My truck is a 95 model, did dodge have a recall for the throttle linkage on the 95 model's??

The '94-'96 recall was for the throttle cable. I know the bell crank that the linkage attaches to was replaced but don't remember if the linkage itself was replaced, but lean towards no.

I beleive there is a recall I know I replaced mine then I had to send dodge a copy of my bill and they paid me. so I want to say yes there was a recall but not positive

You can try lowering the idle setting by loosening the governor spring tension one or two clicks on each side.



I cannot figure out how welding the linkage stops you from lowering the idle screw.
