not sure, but have some condensation under the cp3 when i look when i get home. no drops on the ground. no excessive fuel useage or smoke. just a little drip on the negative ground on the block and the cp3 harness. didn't check if any lines are loose yet. should i make a visit back to the dealer and have replaced? only have 15k. only goodies are quad box, holley blue PP, air intake and straight piped. not sure why it would be leaking so soon if at all?

thanks for any input fellas

Are you sure it is fuel? The crankcase breather could have leaked some condensation out? Most of the Cp3's that have a problem really leak.

must be seeing things. not sure if it's leaking. but there was a couple drips of fuel hanging off the wiring harness under the cp3. no convinced it donesn't leak yet. we will see after i drive it over the weekend, more than just 1 mile to work everyday. i did wipe it clean yesterday and it looked fine today. just a little condensation on the cp3. it's on in the 30's and it rained a little. might have to take a trip back to the dealer, hopefully not.

thanks again.

Yes, you ARE leaking. Probably won't be as bad now that the weather is warming up, but you still need to get that CP3 replaced.

If it isdefinitely diesel and not oil the CP3 is leaking. Yes, it will slow down and even quit in warm weather. It is also impacting performance and the way the ECU is applying the fuel curve.

If it is oil it may the plug that covers the access to the CP3 drive gear.

yeah fellas your right it isn't really leaking anymore. i'll wait til winter or fall when the weather cools to find out for sure that's the problem. i don't drive the truck everyday i use the jeep or motorsickle. i only have 16k on it so my warrenty ain't running out.

The leaking on the harness and ground strap is the dead giveaway. Mine, a friends and a couple others were confirmed that way. The mileage is right on que, too. Let it get real messy so there is no question about the leak. After a good run, put your nose near the left grilles and you'll smell it. I made the writer sniff when I dropped it off. Made her a believer.
