Seem to have some fuel making its way down my bellhousing when it is started for the first few minutes, seems to only do it when the truck is facing uphill some. Can not see exactly where its coming from, put my mirror up there on the back of the head as close as I could get but can't seem to figure it out, any ideas?

Do you still have the OEM lift pump on the back of the fuel filter canister? There is an O-ring that seals where the pump enters the canister which may be leaking. Also check the filter canister cover and the drain valve for leaks.

In tank retrofit was done last month, I'm thinking it may be line or something they redid/ or didn't put back correctly. Next to impossible to see back there, seems to be right on the back of the head or block.

The bad lift pump was replaced with a special adapter that has an O-ring similar to what was on the lift pump. If the tech didn't lubricate the new O-ring with oil when installing this adapter, that is probably is the source of your leak.

On edit: pull the front driver's side wheel and the fender liner, which will give you an unobstructed view of the adapter. Here is a picture of my fuel pump canister with the FASS kit adapter. Yours will probably look different.

I can see all that stuff, and it's dry, is there a return line or something on the back of the engine I can't readily see? Just seems to do it for a few minutes on a cold start.

I almost guarantee you have the same problem I had..... The day after installing my ddp injector nozzles I noticed a fuel leak that was running down the back of my engine and onto my bellhousing..... I checked everything every injector line nothing... A buddy of mine that recently had his head off said that there was some type of retun line that is connected to the back of the head between the head, and the firewall... I checked and it sure was leaking from there... I got a wrench on it from under the truck, cause from the top I could not fit my hand... I tightend it up about 3/4 of a round. Problem solved... The funny thing is I never loosened it for the nozzle install... Hope this helps Wes...

I sure dont... . Just get 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 mm wrenches and go to work... It only took me 35 seconds to tighten it up once I found out where it was. . I have a relly bright flashlight I used... . I think it was a 15mm not sure though... . Good luck Wes. .

Hopefully thats what it was. WP, you must have some long *** arms to reach up there from underneath!! :-laf I pulled the valve cover and snuck around the backside of that, used a 19mm box end on it, got 1/2-5/8 of a turn on it. / Find out Saturday morning when I start it up cold. Must be a return line from the injectors judging from the way it is ran?
