about 1 month ago my fuel injector pump died on me and had to purchase a new one. everything has been good till last week. my fuel gauge was reading about 1/8 tank. i tried to start the truck, and it did start but was running ruff for about 10 seconds. i drove it to the gas station and filled it up. when i went to restart it, it wouldnt start. i had to crack the fuel injectors lines and turn motor over. tightened the injector lines and all was good. something is wronge and what ever it is probberly killed my old injector pump. any thoughts as to what the problem is. when my truck died the first time i was at 1/8 tank of fuel, just like it was when it died the second time.

Sounds like your running out of fuel. How many gallons are left in the tank when you run out. You may want to pull the fuel tank module and look at it. It is supposed to float in the tank but could be hung up. Or you may just be running way to close to empty. I would never be comfortable running my truck that close to empty. 9 gallons left is low for me, below that my but tightens up. Check that fuel module, They are a real piece of work. :-laf
