Competition Track Damage ....

Competition National Dragster / NHRDA

Please finish the intake first... ... ..... Ha ha... ... ... The rest of us working out of our two car garage are watching to see if it turns out for a daily driver

about 900 hp, and the ability to make power up high, at the ability to rev-gain . The tire to run a a 33. 5 x17 hoosier

My truck is stock dodge steel , with the exception of doors and front end those are carbon fiber , the cost of a new Bickle or Ness chassis is $60,000 to $ 80,000 depending on what you want. My truck was build as a Pro Stock truck and is state of the art for a little motor , and is some what of a over kill on a diesel. Now you have to be weight concerns on these trucks , because the weight will creep up on you if you don’t opt for the weight reduction parts . like carbon fiber pieces , carbon fiber brakes , titanium axels , rear housing spindles , spool , and a skinny little girl as a driver.

Well we do have that one covered, she’s 65 lbs lighter, and has the same licenses I do. Up to and including Pro Stock , she’s made several passes in the low 9 second range , and one in the high 8.

Yes RD, somehow I managed to figure it out  I don't care what you bring, cause remember I also said that we would compare how much each of us has spent. If you want, we can sit in my truck while we compare since it still has AC. So you go build your chassis and bring it on over, at that point I have absolutely nothing to lose as I shouldn't be able to beat you right?

You can bring whatever you want, like I believe you have said in the past, you never know who is building what, or how far along it is... .

Hey Fat Kid-

An unwelded chassis will run you anywhere from 3 thou to 4 thou- depending on type of chassis. They do offer welded up versions that are already certified and tagged appropriately. Helps to speed up your build time if they can 'fit' you in their busy schedule... otherwise you'll have to weld it yourself- and then bring it for certification by NHRA... .

$60,000 to $80,000 for just a chassis? come on now? Did Dr. P get the coffee maker option too?:-laf Sounds to me like a retired Ex Pro-Stock truck was bought and then changed to fit and run a diesel- I'm not buying someones old program then change it entirely to run a diesel... ...

That’s what a sportsman chassis cost , when you get one with every bell and whistle’s you can expect to pay over a $100,000 easily. This was a pro stock truck , in fact it was Darrel Alderman’s ride , when he drove for the Nickens . and Doc bought two of then for $80,000 , a good deal then. I can buy a old truck in the neighborhood of $ 30,000 now , and you would be hard pressed to get the value of one of those for what you can build your self. Remember the pipe as we call it is just a small part , you will spend $2500 for front struts and brakes , $300 for springs at least a grand for rear shocks a rear end housing and brackets will cost about a grand , a third member is about $2000 , axles about $500 to $600 . rear brakes are about $400 , another $300 for rear springs. if you do every thing your self you will have close to $25. 000 to $30,000 in it , there are a lot of little things most people forget , I have fitted several Chassis out , and the list is long. And to make a diesel work , the cheep parts don’t fit the bill, like the $1000 shocks , you need the $1800 electric shocks, don’t ask trust me you have to have them

none of the standard parts are on my truck, the brakes I referred to were entry level brakes from strange, my brakes are carbon fiber MW and cost around $3300 my axles are titanium and cost around $5000. the rear housing is also Titanium and runs around $10,000 the front struts on my truck are also Titanium . the wheelie bars are also titanium. Not trying to brag , but these are what most ex Pro Cars or Trucks have , and this is the value you get by buying a one

the more I hear from you , the more . I don't really give a crap what you think, its nothing but internet racing , my numbers are real and if you want to come out and play , line up on the other side of the tree from me , I have been know to lay the tree on you .

RD does race his, I don't doubt that any. Its Comp that I am not sure of... None of us want to race your pulling truck though, remember I am one of the few who has seen that beast make a pass.
