Possible Load from Atlanta to the West??

Good evening to the forum I am in a dilemma and need to put a question to the forum. Some background is in order. I need to take two week off (Company Thing) and my youngest daughter needs to get to Atlanta which is 2700 miles from Sherwood, Oregon. College



My thought it to put her Oldsmobile on a trailer and deliver her and her car along with a bed full of her stuff to my oldest daughter who just happens to live in Atlanta. Gives me a purpose for a road trip and I get to see my granddaughter.



If I do this, I will have an empty car trailer to bring back. Would there be anybody that needs something towed and delivered going from Atlanta to the Northwest that would like a custom delivery made? I guess I'm looking for a load to haul that will pay some fuel money to help offset part of the cost if I do this.



Dates would be leaving here on the 11th of July with a turn around in Atlanta for home around the 18th of July.



Right now this is just a thought, and I have not even bounced this off the better half.



I needs a road trip guys, I be too house bound and I don't mind towing or delivering something for somebody on that is a member of the forum.



My rig will tow anything out there. I'm set up for bumper or goose neck.



Just looking for some feed back and thoughts as to if this sounds like a deal that some one would want to take advantage of.

I got your email. Depending on interest of others I might be able to take more stuff. I still need to find a load comming back. Looks like this is going to be a go. Will firm it up on Sunday with my works requirements. If anybody else is interested, jump in an let me know.

There are lots of car shows back east right now. You might hit a couple of the mopar boards. I'll be at Carlisle PA in mid July, and there are usually folks needing new purchases hauled back west.

Wow I did not know there were forums like this tractor one that you mentioned. Definite eye opener for the ability to off set some cost. Are there other forums like this out there. Wish I would have seen this a long time ago. Could have saved some money on my cross country trips that I have been making.

I saw the post for the engine to Portland. Thats very do-able, but now the women have changed their mind and decided to look at Logan Utah. So I'm hung up so to speak with them trying to make up my mind Anyway thanks for all the input and this has definitely opened up an in-site that I was unaware of before.



I will be doing an Idaho trip to Salmon and Idaho Falls from the 1st to the 15th of Aug. Maybe something will pop up for that run.
