I had a great time at the Big Rig Nats at MIR on April 21st. If we can get 15 folks to show up we will receive the group treatment. Please post and/or email if you are going to go. I know this is short notice but I need to provide a list of names of attendees to the track manager by Wednesday (13th) evening.

Dave, I'll be there also talked to Groundpounder he'll be there. I agree with Cliff they'll be alot of trucks don't know how many TDR members but, might be a good recruitment night. The pick-ups will probally out number the large cars they don't usally show up big time until Aug. for Truckers Day at the Buck. I've been taking a tri-axle dump truck up since 88. If some of you have never seen the Modified Big Rigs pull the sled they are awesome .

I will add you guys to the list. I didn't call the track this afternoon because I only had five folks that were going for sure. Oz(?), the guy I spoke with at the track said he needed to have at least 15 by this evening to set us up with group status for this weekend. I will try to call him tomorrow moring and see what he has to say.



As far as I know these are the folks who are coming for sure.

I know it is short notice and Fathers Day weekend but I thought a lot more guys would be up for this. I had at great time at the Big Rig Nats at MIR in April. That could have been a great group event. The pull this weekend could be a great group event.

Hey guys, another quick question, how do the pickups hook up to the sled ? Do I need to find a clevis ?

Rattlebox yes bring a clevis and and a hitch that it will fit into if you can. If you can't fined one in time I will let you use mine. Only one truck can hookup at a time anyway

The track coordinator told me they can't do the group thing for less than 15 people.



What is the best route to the track from the Baltimore area?



What time do you guys plan on getting there?



Is there a good place to meet up before we go in?

Dave we pull in about 5:00 to 5:30 you may want to drop MHarris a line as he comes from north of Baltimore and is fun to travle with some times he goes so fast towns just fly by and you will never see them

I tried to forget my short comings, Dave, the way I go to the Buck, North on RT152 to Rt165 turn right stay on 165 until it turns in Rt 74 in Pa. go to RT 372 (sign to Muddy Run) go about 10 mile to stop sign RT 272 turn left go to the top of the hill buck will be on the right It's a nice long steep hill GOOD TEST FOR EGT . Thanks for the directions. I will be bringing my 4 1/2 year old son with me, I might leave you hanging for a while if I try to meet you somewhere at a specific time. More often than not he will cause me to run a little late, either looking for stuff he wants to bring or food and rest stops along the way. I will try to get to the track by 5:00 so I can catch you guys on the way in, if not I will try to spot you inside.

Weather and Track Conditions

How much rain does it take to postpone the pull?



I checked the Weather Channel this AM and it looks like lots of rain is headed up the coast, could be as much as 2 inches.

I live about 30 miles away and its been raining off and on here all day. I think it will be dry enough to pull. A relative lives close to the track and she says it hasn't rained much at all, so I'm gonna give it a shot. See ya at the Buck, Chaz.
