Possible Pittsburgh/SW Pa Truck Show???

The idea of a Pittsburgh/SW PA. area show was mentioned in the Members Rigs Spotted forum. It is possible that I could arrange one, along with a pull, June of 2004 in conjunction with my fire department's annual fair. If anyone is interested please contact me soon so I could start the arrangements. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The best I can tell you now is that a few of us in this area have been talking over the last couple of days about having a local show/event in the near future. Right now we are just finding out if anyone would be interested in something like this. I think that a few of us will be getting together in the near future to iron out the possibility and details. Stay tuned..... It could be anything from a few trucks for a simple get-together to a large event. I guess the amount of interest we see over the next few weeks will decide that.

I originally lived in Perryopolis and now live in central PA. I would be interested in attending a show in your area. I come in to see my son and stop in Mt Pleasant at ADT. It would be better to have it on Sat so more people could come. Thunder in Muncie is the first weekend in June. You don't want to have it then. Jeff

Thanks Jeff for the info on June... ... I was thinking that just because there is a pull that Saturday. I'll keep going on some ideas. At least we can get a chapter up and running and work on some events in the meantime.

Yep, better stay away from the weekend of Thunder in Muncie because I just have to go this year. Last year was a blast and I wanted more the day I left!



Maybe we should get together for a coffee night in the area soon and set up some regular nights that we could meet. That would be an easy way to get things rolling. I live just north of Pittsburgh on Route 8 in Glenshaw. Lets figure out where the central location is for us.

I think the idea is great. We have so many truck people around here, from all of the manufacturer disciplines, not just Dodge who I know would love to attend local shows and join a local truck club.

Just thought I would bring up the Coffee Night suggestion made in the Readers Rigs thread. I like the New Stanton suggestion, but perhaps a "floating" location too...

Coffee night.

Well were working on now, it seem like a lot of people are bookde this weekend but if anybody is free and able to meet post here or shot a pm this and well see if we cant make it happen. I would like to get the coffee night going here with in a week or two, so lets try to do it.

Ok ladies and gentlemen... ... It looks like a coffee night this week will not work. There are too many out there who are interested, but are committed to something else this week. Lets shoot for one sometime in November. Check back for more details later.

Potter County this weekend and do a little work. I am good for november thought, except for the 23rd. (my anniversary, wife would kill me if I skipped that for coffee night. )



BTW, New Stanton works fine for me. Lets set a day and time.

Lets do a weeknight, like Tuesday or Wednesday, at something like 7:00pm. We could meet at Eat-N-Park in New Stanton. It has a huge parking lot and lots of room inside for some good BSing...

Coffee night & school

OK I guess well have to settle for November, but these days I have HAZMAT SCHOOL November 4,6,8,11,13. The 4th, 6th, 11th, and 13th are Tuesdays and Thursdays school is from 6:30pm to 10:30pm and the 8th which is the first Saturday is an 8 hour day. anything after that is good. Thanks.

P. S. -Keep your eye on O'Donnell though,he is a bad influence but brings great food to shows for those of us too forgetful to do it themselves... . . BTW Mike I am still waiting for my invitation and mudflap info. . LOL.

Along with our regular Tuesday or Wednesday night coffee night, we could do a once a month Sunday afternoon coffee meet so our far away buddies can join us.
