I am having what I think is the TPS problem lots of other people have when it seems like the transmission "hunts" for a gear at light throttle, cruising (not highway) speed. I've done a search and lots of guys have pulled the TPS wires out and cleaned it up and it's worked OK. I will do this, but give me a second. It's been said that this is the torque converter locking/unlocking, which it may be. However, my truck also does the same thing at parking lot speeds, very light throttle. I have a trouble code that says "governor pressure reads 3 psi not in gear" or something. Any other ideas before I waste an hour out in the cold on my TPS?
Thanks,
Darel
