Possible turbo lag?

Hello all, happy thanksgiving, I got got my my 3rd dodge cummins, a1990 w250 4wd. Ive been reading up on and are excited about turning up the fuel screw and rotating the fuel pin and star wheel adjustment and oh thr smoke screw, my question is with a stock 21 cm non wastegated turbo, will I get lag after all these mods? thanks Mike -- email address removed --

Yes you will have lag before you tune it being a NON IC truck you could change to a 16 housing and wake the truck up alot . but this is what I have done to mine .
I have a after market fuel pin , 366 spring star wheel turned along with fuel screw turned in a couple turn's . then I added a 12 wg housing and that's when I noticed the biggest increase in go power .

You should have an 18cm housing. 21's didn't appear until '91.5 and ended in '92.

So i should upgrade turbo before anything?
