I am thinking I have a U-joint issue but want to see what you think. When I back out of the driveway it feels like it wants to bump steer. It seems like it gets a little better after a little driving but sometime when I turn I can feel it through the wheel, kinda like I am in 4-wheel drive on dry roads. I jacked it up and if the wheels are straight they turn fine but if I turn them I can barley get the drivers side wheel to turn and it will move the steering. I assume that is a u joint binding up. No noise or anything though. It just started acting like this but I figure it is rom living up in the Chicago area and all the salt over the winters up there caused it deteriorate quickly. It seems to be worse the longer the truck sits also.

I am still getting some stuff done after some damage from Ike so I was wondering how much of a pain this could be to replace with some basic tools.
