post counter

How come my post counter doesn't go over 700? I have been close many times but every time I get close to 700 the count falls back into the lower 600's. It just did it again, within the last week.

I can't speak to what happened in the past Ron, although I do know that there was one time in the past that post counts went down - I don't remember why though.
