Did everyone have a good time? All post Muncie trash talkin' goes here. Let's not be shy... tell us what you really think.

We're thinking of having a cookout back in Colt State Park in just a couple of weeks. I'll give Scott a call and see if we can set a date.

I'll start a thread on that if it's a go.

Sounds like you had a good time... Any pics???

I heard the dyno broke??? Did you drive into it?? :D

How was the weather??? It was the usual crappy rain here.

The FOG

Hey Matt,

What a great weekend...

I've been trying to figure out the best way to describe Holeshot's Belch FOG that my girlfriend and I experienced at Hardies with you guys. Help me out here if I don't describe it well, so here it goes.

If anyone has ever met Matt(HoleshotHolset), they all know that he is one of the NorthEast Burping Kings. Well, a whole bunch of us on our way home from Muncie were sitting in Hardies grabbing some grub before the long trip home and as usual, Matt was letting them rip the entire time. Well the sun was shining real bright through the window behind me and onto Matt. He let one of his internal somewhat quiet, but rather long, burps go and after he was done, he sort of blew it out up into the air. Well, I saw what looked to be a FOG of some sort exit his mouth. I took a double take but was still not sure if what I saw was real or not so I didn't say anything right away, but my girlfriend Galyn saw it too and she said, "Did you see that nasty FOG come out of his mouth?"

We about died and busted out laughing.

Wheaties can tell you, my story is true as can be...

Can anyone explain this strange FOG??? :-laf

I thought Galyn was going to spray Dr. Pepper all over me... . :-laf

Man - what a blast this past weekend was.

Are we a fun group or what?!

Matt (MTY)

Yup, though belching isn't usually considered a meteorological event, Holshot's belch qualifies as warm, saturated air colliding with cooler air, causing it to condense and make fog! If he keeps this up, in a few years he may actually be able to belch a small storm. "Arrrgh, no wonder my stomach is upset!!"

Took a few smoke shots... . this truck pulled 286' <smoke shot> ... this truck pulled 294' <smoke shot> .....

Also, you missed the guy with the mini truck beater, with the custom zebra striping -- I think he bought 'Instant Zebra Stripes In A Can' at Auto Zone and let'er rip -- with the 12" fronts and the 19"? rear, "heck just use the truck bed for a spoiler". Why does my front bumper keep scraping? He also came back with an equally beat up station wagon, announcing his arrival by squealing all four as he made the turn for the hotel road. I thought he'd just taken the corner a littel fast, but after he parked, he got out and jumped up and down on the rear bumper. The car just bounced and bounced. "Yup", he says, "took the suspension out a week ago... . If you want to hold up the rear bumper ah'll smoke the tires till they're bald!!!... " So we got out the floor jack and sure enough he smoked 'em till the car was out of sight. Even when the air cleared, that wagon looked like a scene from Cheech 'n Chong the inside had that much smoke. Folks at Muncie are so friendly

HEY HOLESHOT,SMOKE THAT GUY!!!! :-laf ... the convoy out was quite amusing... the Zebra truck:-laf ,Elmo took the pics of that and Holeshot jacking the wagon in the smoke cloud,Ill post them as soon as he sends them to me. . Everyone was cool, first time there and had a GREAT TIME . backed my truck up to a dumpster at work today to unload all the empties we just tossed in there, everyone was like:--) ,"had a good time I see" the supt. says while laughing. Nice to see the faces instead of a name. Weaties, well he kept the moral up on the LONGGGGG trip out buy telling jokes, nice job... I took about 100 pics,I'll post some soon. Holeshot, did you fix your exhaust yet?lucky I had spare ear plugs... the convoy back to PA was a sight to remember,I think 14 trucks were in it,took a pic while rounding a courner. Kept it together really well. can't wait till the next one... .

Lots and Lots of drinking had been done by all!!!!:D

When the trucker asked "What exploded up there?" I had to tell him "That was one of our coherts, he mic doesn't work but he can hear us. He sends smoke signals to respond. " His reply: laughter "That's great!!!"

Truckers loving our convoy and our trucks. Shoulda seen the look on peoples faces as we all passed..... PRICELESS

Tractor supply place, Texas Roadhouse resturant with the HUGE MARGARITAS!!!!

Elmo has to update his sign so that people can read it better.

Sled pulls were great... . dual stacks look awesome with wonderful soot blasted 50ft into the air:cool: :D

When a turbo goes under full throttle during a sled pull..... makes very very loud boom and lots and lots and lots of smoke... . also sends shrapnel 50-60 ft from the truck..... REMEMBER THIS! :( Good thing he was from Indiana and didn't have to drive.

Great time and will have to do it again next yearOo.

Wheaties... . totally up for another picnic.

Well it wasn't a REAL good idea to be blasting it at midnight.

Someones bound to get thier panties in a bunch.

Overall a great time had by all.

Well I see all of you made it back from andy's shop. That is good. Even though I did not have a truck out there. I will be there next year. Had lots of laughs but little sleep. :D

The only REAL bummer was the DAMN RAIN on sunday.

Other than that is was a great time.

... ..... Still in a daze from the last leg of the trip home early this morning.

Traveling in a convoy can sure save your a$$ when something breaks (more on that later) ;)

This was the first pull I'd ever been to. Can't wait for the next one :D Oo. I was standing at the end of the track for the full pulls by SledPuller and the black Scheid truck  The carnage was awesome. Lots of broken driveshafts... . hop, hop, BANG One turbo let go and shot the turbine wheel out of the tailpipe. I really wanted to see the green Haisley truck run, but something broke right at the start. Those turbos sure did sound some nasty as the big (HUGE) one lit up :D

Sean

I talked with the guy who ran the green Haisley truck (Actually Sean was standing right next to me... . ).

He was really cool to talk to and answered all of my questions - even though he looked at me funny a few times. :D

Ed West is his name, funny thing is he and Van Haisley both have nothing to hide, Ed showed me his water injection and talked about the pump and the turbo's, Oh and it lit off on the line cause he let out of the clutch at 5500, it bit jumped and twisted the pinion off when it hopped, very disappointing not getting to see Ed run! Nice to see people not hide stuff, the Haisley bunch are sure good people, glad I'm a customer!

Jim

Jim: I know exactly what you mean - he treated me very well, despite all of my questions. Usually when you ask questions - folks start to avoid them, lie, or have their hoods shut.

Matt,

Galyn here. Back to this Fog thing you can do...

Can you teach me how to perform such an amazing thing??? :-laf

Thanks for all the fun...

See you all soon.

Galyn

Galyn: You know... . Wheaties (the Elder Matt... . or Matt The Elder)... explained it quite well.

It has something to do with the atmospheric conditions inside my stomach. Condensation, deltas in temperature, Boyle's gas law, the El Niño effect, etc..... :-laf

Personally - I think we should just call it the "El Belcho Grande" :D

You know, you're pretty cool for an interior design gal. :-laf

We gotta work on your skills some more - then you can have "La Belcha Grandisima" :D

Andy - she's a keeper... ... lifetime lease and everything.

Matt - home of "El Belcho Grande"

El Belcho Grande,

Aw thanks for the compliments...

I've been practicing on the Fog thing but so far no luck.

I think you have a special talent there...

I wanted to include this little jumping thing cause I thought it was cute... it's the same color as "the Fog"... Oo.

Galyn

Hey Matt,

Sorry about that. She is new to TDR. And can you imagine, she actually said she wants to become a member... :p

Andy

Can you be a member with a black chebby gasser? We should look into that... .

Galyn, try belching after you have had ice in your mouth... might make it cold enough for it to condense...
