Posting a Poll?

Could someone tell me how to post a poll. I see the check box near the bottom of the new threads page, but what then?

Just fill in the subject line and at least an X in the message box, just repeating subject line again is good. Select the number of options in your poll and check the post a poll box. Click submit new topic and you will be taken to a page where you can enter the various choices in your poll.
