Notes on the Big Blackout

If you are talking about putting a picture in a post when you are replying to a thread, there is an option to do so on the reply page. You click on browse and it allows you to go through your hard drive and upload them to the site. They have to be resized most times so that they will be accepted. The maximum size is 32,000 bytes.

You can post pictures bigger in another way...

First you can upload your pics to the readers rigs (122K max. )

Then when you are on a reply, get 2 windows open, one to the post, one to readers rigs.

On the readers rigs, select the size photo, I use #2, and when it comes up, right click and select properties,

A window will pop up and in the middle is the URL. Highlight this and copy it (right click and copy)

Then go to the post and type a code. I have to put extra "*" symbals in the middle so it will show on this post. so dont use the "*" Also there is supposed to be a space inbetween the IMG and SRC on both sides and use the / after the URL is copied to the post...

*<*img*src=*(copied URL)/*src*img*>*

So you type**** <*img *src=* and then copy the URL from readers rigs here,

Then type /src img>

As you can see on the ending how to do the begining, but in reverse... ...

If doing multiple pics, just go back and forth in the posting so a pic can look like this

<img src=https://www.turbodieselregister.com/user_gallery/sizeimage.php?&photoid=5696&width=2/src img>

An easier way to find the URL is to click on the link right below the picture that says "forum codes" - it'll give you the exact code to put in your post for the picture to show in a number of different sizes.
