Simple,here's how... .
When you find the picture point the curser on it and 'right click' on your mouse. A window will pop up,go to the bottom and click 'properties'. Another window will come up,look for the URL for where the picture comes from, for example: http//www.uglyrig. garage/pic1234

Highlight and copy the entire URL address.
To put it here you'll have to use #ad
after the address,so paste the URL in between the img codes... . for example:
#ad

The URL's are usually really long,so be sure you copied the entire thing correctly or it won't work. That's all,hit 'submit reply' just like you normally do,and when the page loads the image will be there

OK, so that works when getting a picture off a web site but what do I do if I have pictures stored on a floppy and want to copy them to a post? I have a Sony camera that uses regular floppies. Is there any way to put a picture in the text like one can do with Word or Word Perfect?

Stan

Check your email. I can put your photos on my server so that you can post them to the forum.

Jim, I sent you an email with the code you use to do this.

Interesting note - On Koa Man's post of the image: With netscape I see the image of Jim's truck with the stacks added. With IE5. 5 I see an Angelfire banner instead of the truck. When I posted the image script myself, the same thing happened.

What do others see in Koa Man's post, and what browser version are you using?

ok... . so here goes again... ... . same book fourth or fifth chapter!!

ok... just the angelfire banner... i did notice that when the forum page loaded that it showed the proper outline for the pic. . but then it disapeard and the banner showed!... I think its some silly deal with angelfire... . #ad

OK, My netscape was displaying the image because I had pasted the image URL into the browser and looked at it. NS cached the image, and used it when I loaded the TDR forum page. I just pasted the image URL into IE and got the same results. When the cache is cleared so that the browser must get call the image from Angelfire, the host there bocks the call as the page loads, and sends the banner instead of the requested image.

I shoved the image onto my site Here it is: #ad

The stacks look great, the truck appears to be brand F! #ad
