Just changed my trans fluid tonight on my NV5600. All the posts I read say that is takes 4. 75 quarts. I could only get in 4 quarts. Truck is on level ground and I let her drain for over an hour. ??? What am I missing here?
Don't sweat the small stuff... . If you pulled a bolt out to drain it,you will most likely have some left inside no matter how long you drain,The fill levels are not exact, just fill it to the plug and enjoy life don't stress
Well I don't mean to be anal but there is a significant difference between 4 & 4. 75 quarts. Nearly a bottle. Looks like If I jacked the rear of the truck up the trans would be more level?!?
Thanks guys! I feel better about it now. When you have 2,000 miles of driving to do over the next 3 days pulling six cars (three down, three back)you want to be sure.
