i have a new truck(to me anyways). my old truck i had an edge comp box and loved it. i might want to try somthing differant this time for the heck of it. right now my truck has an edge ez in it. now my question is can i stack a box with it? what box will give me best peformance should i stalk some other boxes?? or should i just get another edge comp. or a drag comp???? oh ya its a 2001 5spd

You can stack another "fueling only" box with the EZ, something like the TST Powermax. In doing this, the EZ will provide timing and some additional fueling via the stock computer, and the TST will provide extra fueling by tapping the wire. There have been quite a few people that have had success with an EZ/TST stack.

At the last dyno here, we had a guy add an EZ to his TST Powermax and pick up and extra 50hp over his max gain with just the TST.

I have the comp, what advantages does the catcher have over the comp/ drag?

No pump tap... save the VP-44

INSTANT throttle response...

With a nice set of injectors, the caTCHER and right turbo, you won't believe it!

You can you still run the Comp with the Catcher right? What does a catcher sell for anyway?

There is a "special" version of the CaTCHER with less injection advance that was designed specifically for use with a Comp. They are running right around $500 with shipping to Italy included.

The Catcher is the best mod yet!! Will have the Mach 1. 6's in it soon, can't wait!!! The best set up for towing out there. And the $500 is if you supply the ECM, Bob has an exchange ECM program so you're not down for a month waiting on it.

The Catcher reflash is $500, shipping included. I bought a ECM on eBay for $175 and sent it to Bob, kept my original in case it won't pass emissions with the Catcher, haven't had to do it yet, so I don't know if it will or not. Another nice feature is you can run all the boost you want and it won't throw a overboost code. Throttle response is as good as a gasser, turbo spools right off idle, sweet.

Thanks for the info on the catcher I just sent Bob an email, any one using twins with the catcher?

When I switched to the "special" CATCHER, Bob told me that the special version was specifically designed for not only guys running the Comp but for guys with big injectors (Mach 6+, etc. ) and twins as it modified timing less at the top and allowed the entire combination to work better.

After the catcher, try the Bluechip Redline box. Pricey, but they go to 4000 RPM, and you can get upgrades for the cost of shipping if they ever do any.
