Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) lift pump pressure question

With all my mods, I still am unable to power brake my truck. I know it's not because I have mudders on my truck. When trying to power brake, you can hear the engine bog down at a certain point. Is there a sensor or something else that Dodge has that does not allow this to happen? You can feel the truck pull forward while trying to, but they just won't break lose. My friend has a powerstroke with mudders and similiar mods and he has no problem powerbraking his truck. The only way I can power brake is if my tires are wet.

Thanks

Try to swing it around a corner that's the only way my buddy could get his tires going when he had a stock transmission(stage 4 bully dog injecters and ez edge). Not a problem anymore after the Suncoast torque converter and valve body that we put in yesterday, but no reverse. Goes good forward though. Guess we'll call Suncoast tomorrow and see what's up. The install went as slick as snot, no problems.

Antilock brakes...

. . are probably what is causing this. They sense the fronts are not turning but the rears are. So-o-o. . they relaese the fronts and apply more rear braking.

If you want to burn your tires get a line lock for the front brakes and put a dead man switch on it. that way you can burn till your heart is content and just drop the switch and your off.

With my pickup set up the way it is now, and with 255/85's on it (aggressive tread) it takes me quite a bit to get one to break loose (no LSD). BUT, once it does, it'll go for a good while... on the other hand, with my Michelin LTX M/S 235/85's on there, well, they just spin whenever they want too... oh, here's my transmission temp gauge after 4 times power-braking for a smoke show

:D Not sure that's very good for the DTT, but it sure is a lot of fun making this:

I've only power braked one time since my DTT rebuild and my Comp on 5x5.

I brought the boost up to about 5 or 6 lbs and let the brakes go and the tires(Stock)started burning so I let up immediatley because I was on a new street of houses we are building.

Then it set off a code of P1740 which is a transmission code. I disconnected the batteries for an hour or so and the code is gone.

*tink SNAP* oh was that an input shaft I heard snap?

Build some boost launch it to spin em and get back on on the brakes.
