Power door lock fuse is blowing

This morning I noticed my Viper alarm chirped but did not unlock the doors. Checked the power lock fuse which was ok, and I could lock/unlock the doors with the button inside the door. A few hours later, everything was operating properly again. I thought it was some sort of reset. Then, in the afternoon the door lock problem recurred, only this time it blows the 10 amp fuse every time I replace it. Could be an electrical problem with the alarm, or the factory power lock system. Any ideas?
