Help,

my power door locks all of the sudden will unlock and lock all by themselves without using the keyless entry fob.

Happened yesterday twice and in turn set off the alarm. I was like:confused:

I noticed something was up when I went to push the unlock button on the fob and the truck was already unlocked at my work parking lot.

I noticed last nite that they would lock and unlock quite quickly in a short time span all by themselves. I finally had to disable the alarm and pull the 10 amp fuse on the side fuse panel. Now I have no power locks and interior lights.

Any help folks?

Try pulling the battery out of the remote and see if the problem is solved.

If not check the door lock relay in PDM.

There is actually a TSB out on the lock cylinders. Mine would do the same thing, especially when it rained or really humid. dealership has an updated part number for the lock cylinder.

Thanks for the replies,

I was wondering too what receives the signal from the remote to unlock/lock the doors and where its located. I will put the fuse back in and also check the relay in the PDC as well as the battery in the remote.

How long do these little batteries typically last?
