Power Drivers Seat

After 2 years and 47,000 miles my 99 finally had to go to the shop. I took it back for the trailer hitch recall and had them look at the power seat assembly. Only problem since new. I have 5 yr/100,000 mile extended warranty which I used 27 times on my 96 dualie, so I fiqured it would be used almost on my 99 so thats why I bought it. The seat has been working intermittantly since about 20,000 miles. No parts in stock they'll call me when they come in-another 30 miles and a coupla hours shot.

the seat problem is a known one. . my now deciesed truck had two seat bases in 50k miles [note at 1000 each . . warranteed]

First I've read of a 'known' seat problem on this board. Just what is the problem?

The reason I mentioned the power seat failure is because I have never seen it discussed either here or in the TDR.
