I need some help.

My truck started acting up yesterday when I went to pass someone. It acted like it was flooding or like it just wouldn't go and then surge. THis only happens once I am going above5 to 20 psi. boost and mostly in 5th and 6th gear. Also seems to get worse the warmer my truck gets. I have a 2003 6speed with Edge juice with attitude. Any Ideas??

There are no codes and I drained the fuel filter and it hasn't made a difference. I am thinking possible intercooler boot leaking but I dont' know. ANy suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks

Just a thought, but maybe you have a boost leak causing your Edge to defuel once the EGT's get too high? I'm reasonably confident you would hear a boost leak, though. I had one and was definitely able to tell. My cruising EGT's were about 200° too high, and I could hear it.

You might also have a clogged fuel filter or a bad lift pump. Draining the canister won't do anything for you. You should really swap out the filter and take your truck for a drive.

If it's still not better, you may want to check your fuel pressure. If your lift pump pressure is ok, then maybe start looking at the rail relief valve.

I hope it's the filter...

Definitely the cheapest problem.
