Power Edge vs. EZ or ?

After talking with Fred Swanson at Desert Diesel yesterday I found out what I really need for my truck/trailer setup is an EZ instead of the Power Edge I have now.



Anyone interested in a trade or want to sell there EZ or buy my Power Edge?

the Power Edge is not a COMP



--the Power Edge was the Comp's predecessor and you need the EZ with the Power Edge to make it into a COMP, except that it will have less settings(only 3 setting on the Power Edge with the touch of a button)--well you do have another 3 settings on the EZ to play with if you wanted but they're not with the touch of button ---you need to take the cover off the EZ and change the jumper settings---



so in review the COMP is the the POWER EDGE + EZ in one box with more settings and the ability to change the settings while in the cab with a touch of a button... . chris

I would be happy to trade the Power Edge with anyone with an EZ. I did not realize that this box was designed more for upper range power, I need low end power for getting out of the hole.



I do not seem to be able to locate the paperwork on the Edge but I am sure Brett or someone out there has a copy.

you could just buy an EZ and add it to the truck---you can leave the Power Edge turned off and use it only for those times that you need more to mongo power--- the EZ plus the Power Edge make a great combo---that's what I suggest----chris
