Power for Gauges

I know about the or/brn for the lighting but in issue 51 it says to tie into the pink w/yellow tracer for the power-------is this the only power source to use? I need power for the Isspro amp boxes and was wondering if I could use the power source for the lighter.

My truck didn't have the powerpedal motor for re-positioning my pedals but it had the plug in the dash wire loom so I tapped into it. It had both hot power and switched power. I just changed out the fuse in the fuse box and ran in-line fuses for each instrument off the switched power wire. Don't know if your 06 is the same. Good luck --------RJ

That is where I tapped into power for my ISSPRO gauges, they have been in the truck for amolst a year and have worked fine.



I also used the bolt on the bottom of the dash where Dodge placed their ground strap to the right of the steering wheel when the plastic panel is removed for all of my grounds, I figure they knew where the best place to ground was inside the cab.

Ditto. Used the switched lighter, worked fine for 6 months now.
