I am looking at getting a 92 Cummins. I was going to do a BHAF and a open exhaust. Also turn the pump up. I was wondering with stock turbo and stock injectors what kind of power numbers one could expect? If I were to upgrade the injectors and turbo, what ones do you guys recommend? Thanks.

You will likely see 220 RWHP if you keep the OEM sticks and tune the pump a tad.

I wouldn't get carried away with pushing the pump until you aquire high flow nozzels. You don't see the fire department putting out fires with a garden hose nozzel on the end of their 2 inch hose.

My 93 made 136 hp on a chassis dyno and the only mod was our Intake. Then bolted up an HX-35 turbo with 16 cm collar, POD injectors, and voodoo'd the pump, and power leaped to 253 hp and 630 tq at the tires, and same average fuel mileage too. That's more tq than the new HO's are making, and mine was measured at the tires... which meant ~ 700 tq at the crank - not bad for a little 1st gen.

Mr. Okerberg, I had similar numbers to MadMax with a stock truck: 146hp/359tq. Haven't dynoed yet with the turbo/intake/exhaust mods in my signature…too new to the hp game to estimate  :D BTW welcome to TDR!

... just the standard stuff to get max fuel - rotated the diaphram to the rich side and upped the fast idle, and put the starwheel all the way up to keep the smoke as low as possible. Haven't gotten in toi the pump internals yet. I have the 3200 spring and will do a couple other mods - trying to max the pump without custom parts. The POD's haze a bunch even at idle, and when I want a death cloud I just mash the pedal, and the power is teriffic.
