My 03 CR, was running great for the longest time especially on the highway, the converter would lock and it would take off and if I needed to go faster it would just get up and go without even a issue . Recently, when im traveling on the interstate and doing about 70 + if I get on it it seems like it is just sitting there and takes a ton of time before it catches up or it downshifts, when before it just took off, now it doesn't "Take Off" anymore . . . To my knowledge it only happens when it is in lockup on the highway. Their doesn't seem to be any lack of power during normal driving.

I have no power add on's at all. It just turned 190,000

Any help would be appreciated . .

Any codes?

Sounds like lack of fuel... or possibly a boost leak or clogged air filter. Is your fuel filter clean, does your truck still have the stock lift pump. Any excess smoke?

If you notice excess smoke, check your intake for obstructions, then move on to your boost hoses, one of them may have come loose or torn, check the boost hose off the turbo thoroughly, the factory ones shred.

If no excess smoke, look at the fuel side, plugged fuel filter, lift pump, remove the lid from your fuel filter canister, it should be full of fuel, if not lift pump may be failing. Check your rail relief valve, pull out the banjo bolt from the top of the valve that sits on top of the rail and look into it for evidence of fuel, there should be none. You may have to start it with the banjo bolt out, place a rag over it first, to catch any fuel if it is leaking.

Those are some basics, let us know what you find.
