Pushing Coolant out the Cap

Never saw over 70% engine load on a stock tune, never significantly over 21k stock or even the lower Smarty tunes. Always had to kick the rail pressure up to make it go anywhere near 23k. Mine behaved pretty much the way he says, drop to 14-15k when rolled into it hard then climb back and the EGT's pushed 1200 with enough grade and throttle. After I put a boost elbow in the boost reference line and it would hit 35-37 psi then EGT's stayed well under 1200 all the time.

Stock tunes seems to be limited on engine load and RP, no matter what the tables says. Actuals never would go as high as the limits until the safeties were pulled with a tuner.

Interesting, I had no issues getting to 23K or 94% load on a stock tune on my 05. EGT's and boost acted similar.

On the lower smarty levels I would hit ~97% load on JR:SW2/S06:SW3, and then 100% load on JR:SW3/S06:SW5.

Maybe that's an auto thing?? Thou they had the same power ratings and tables.
 
Maybe it was an auto thing. Even on the higher SW's 90-92% was all I saw for engine load. Could never really get it loaded hard enough and keep EGT's in check to get higher engine loads. As soon as it down shifted to drive the load dropped as did RP.
