power puck for 04.5

A guy I work with bought the diablo stack (programmer & power puck) and doesn't want the power puck. He told me that the programmer is all that he needs. He said that he would sell the power puck to me for $250. Does anyone have any experience with just the power puck on an 04. 5? Oh yeah, it is brand new in the box.

I Have a Power Puck

I have a power puck. You can definitly feel the power increase.

Also, MPG have gone up! I just got their tuner to use with the power puck.

It has two modes, extreme and tow. I tried the extreme mode with the puck on high HP, AWSOME!!! I've backed down to tow mode, the extreme mode was scary.

Besides the Power Puck and Diablo Downloader I put on a Turbo-back 4" dual exhaust from Flow Pro. RPM Outlet sells it. It is not the shiny stainless steel. At some point I am going to get a Cool Hose. Way in the future an ATS manifold with a different turbo. I've got about 23K on it.

I understand the Puck to be a duration and timing box . Is this true?

Very similiar product to the Edge EZ and the Van Aaken R series, they also have a Predator programemr that has a special "stack" program for stacking the Puck at the same time. That price is high, new ones can be had for less from lots of vendors us included. You'll like it, just get it priced for less.

The Mechanic at my Dodge dealer told me the Puck increases fuel rail pressure and turbo boost pressure.



Diablo's tech support told me the predator increases fueling and injection advance. With the predator's extreme tune download for puck equiped engines, they spec +200HP and 400FT-LBS increase at the rear wheels.



Their tech also recommends an EGT Gauge in the extreme mode. Removing the Cat will help reduce EGT's.



The Dodge mechanic told me that the NV5600 or the G5600 trans will hold up to the torque. He said the dual mass flywheel and clutch will not. He has a couple hundred HP added and his clutch slips.
