I had posted on my experience with the diablo power puck. I thought that my mileage around town had dropped but now I am not so sure.
I went on a 100 mile road trip yesterday at about 60 miles per hour.
I filled up before and after same pump same station. Let it click off. Same rate of fill up, same ambient temperature.
MPG was 22. 6. This was a surprise. I had expected it to be down like the town mpg.
I wonder now if the mpg around town was down anyway because of change in oil and the new low sulfur fuel. I had not been keeping up on the town mpg because I had not been filling the tank much due to cost.
I like the way the truck runs with the puck and the pyro is low around town so the mpg should not have suffered.
I only have 2 more weeks to return the puck.
Any suggestions, or ideas.
