power pup and outlook monitor

Is there anyone out there who has this combo? If so is the outlook monitor worth the money? And how easy is the monitor to use? Im thinking of gettin it for my dad. He already has the power pup and is in need of some guages. I just cant decide on regular guages or the outlook monitor.

By the way his truck is an 03 3500 6 speed

I had it. The monitor kept popping a comunication code and check engine light and the back lit display went out. They want you to send back and leave your truck without guages for a couple weeks while they fix it. After running it for a while my truck doesn't spool like it use to and there are possibly some issues with my ECM. I have heard several others say there ECM was toast after the Bully Dog programmer. Another guy told me it changed his Vin in the ECM. I can't recomend their product.
